I wanted to know which solid axle rear end set up is best for handling lateral g's.
GM 10 or 12 bolt
Ford 9"
Dana 60
There are numerous upgrades for each rear end that I am aware of for power handling. I want a rear end for street/track driving that can handle the g's the best. The car won't be drag raced or have slicks on it. It is also going in a 2nd gen f-body leaf spring car.

What do you mean by g-load? Are you looking to camber/toe a solid axle, or just one that physically will hold the force?
On a leaf spring car you won't corner hard enough to hurt any of those axles.

A 12b or a 9"..... the weight of a 60 alone will kill any good reason to ever consider using one. I'd say use a 9"....... but I am a 12 bolt kinda guy.:screwy:

Not necessarily so. I've taco'ed housing just from side load and not having the tubes welded.
The only problem with any rear loaded housing will be possible leaking at the tubes going into the housing and the carrier preload going away from actually hooking it up hard and hurting the gear set from the increased lash......

Prostreet, I meant one that can handle the physical g force. I know the 12 bolt uses less power to drive than the 9", but the 9" has more gear options and has no c-clips. The Dana 60 is heavy duty piece which did come in Mopar R/T cars. I am just again trying to see which of the three would be best for handling purposes. The leaf springs will be from Global West Suspension with their spherical bushings and Del-a-lum bushing shackle kit.
I would also like your opinion on what you stated about the camber/toe part.

The 9" has been the rodders choice for YEARS. Bulletproof unless you have a sack that can hold bowling balls!
