Hello,
I'm mike and new to the site. I have a 1986 Monte Carlo SS t-top thats a work in progress. It currently has a 2002 LQ4,4L80e, And a grand national rearend. Hoping to upgrade to four wheel baer tracks and hydro boost oh yeah and a super chager. But love what I've seen on the site keep it up.

Sounds like a great plan.
I'm in the middle of converting to Hydroboost and installing a set of 13 in Wilwood discs on my 56 Olds.
Should be done next week. I'll post the results.

Just wanted to say welcome aboard. Looks like a good project. Love the SS Montes. I also have an 86 that is in progress. Haven't posted any pics of it though. I really need to though. You will really enjoy the site and will learn alot here. I know I have learned alot already.

Man that is a nice monte carlo did you have any problems upgrading to the five speed?
I bought the setup from a buddy that had it in his '86 SS. I'm using '81 El Camino pedals, an '83 F-body bellhousing, and a rebuilt World Class T5. My buddy cut and welded my stock crossmember, so it's basically a bolt in. Not too bad at all!

Nice Monte!! I believe that we are becoming very popular! My LT1/T56 conversion is getting near done! Ssteve and John Bzdel from the Monte list have been very helpful! BTW, my present sticky point is obtaining a TBI fuel tank sending unit, I've gotten all dead ends, HELP!! thanks!!:hand:
