I am finishing up the installation of a C4 subframe from Wayne Due in my '68 Camaro. The instructions that came with the subframe include a diagram that shows where the inner fenders need to be cut or modified at the rear of the UCA opening for UCA clearance. The front sheetmetal is off, so I mocked up the passenger inner fender to check for clearance. I'm pretty sure the inner fender is in the proper position, and to me it looks like I have enough room. What do you guys think? Anybody else out there installed one of the frames in a 1st gen? I have a floor jack under the LCA in the pics to compress the spring, but there is no engine or trans in the car to weigh down the front end. I'm sure it will be a little lower after it is complete. One thing I should mention is that I am running stock-height Global West body bushings. I suppose you would have more issues with the lowering bushings. Opinions or advice anyone?
