I recently purchased the Pole Position A arms, (SPC performance) part numbers 94302, and 94303, for my 68 Camaro, with the Mook K5208 ball joints. I have stock disc brake spindles and could not get the ball joint to sit down low enough to close the gap on between the spindle and the A-arm. I used the spacers that come with the A-arms and got the gap to close. Upon completion of the install in the car I noticed the car sits about 2.5" higher in the front than it did with the stock A-arms.
Has anybody else had this problem?
Also the directions show one for left and one for right, but how do I know if they are sitting in the driver seat when they mark them L,R or standing in front of the car looking at the headlights. I tried putting the A-arm over the stock ones and if you flip them over either one will go in either place...
Please help....

The weld on the ball joint place goes to the front of the car. I'm not sure what you mean by the "gap" b/w the arm and spindle.

If there's a long and a short side, usually the short side goes to the rear of the car.

Allen, that's how I have them now, which is what I thought was correct, but it's not sitting correctly. I will take some pictures tonight of the after. I have before's.

Dust - For the gap, the ball joint did not set all the way down in the spindle so I used the spacers that were in with the A-arms to get it to sit correctly..

I also noticed it is sitting about 1" closer to the end of the fenderwell than before and the arms are adjsuted all the way in....

From what it sounds like from what the guy @ SPC told me I might have them upside down. This would cause them to lift the car up about 2" and push the top of the tire out towards the fenderwell. But if I flip them over it looks like the ball joint is moved forward. Does that sound correct to any of you?

OK called Marcus (SC and C) he gaev me the rundown with these arms. It looks like I need to get the flat ball joint plates and that should resolve most of the issues....

Thanks again Marcus!!!
