I have the opportunity to rent a round track, that we can use as a autocross at the Protouring event here in September. However, I can only rent it on Friday or Sunday, not Saturday. For those who think they are coming and would participate in such an activity, which day would work better for you? I hate to rent the track, then no one show up, However, the autocross would really add to our event. The local guys use this for the corvette and mustang clubs and have a blast. You can get some decent speed up, it is a 3/8 mile track.
If you plan to come, please give me some feedback......soon.

I would think Saturday night would be better so people from out of town have a chance to set up and be able to race.
That would be my preference ...

Saturdays are the regularly scheduled race night. Local redneck roundtrack racing. You know, "went to a fight and a race broke out" kinda place.
Saturday would be the ideal day, but it is out.

Sweet, we have one here in clarksville,IN The Sportsdrome!
On Saturday's there is a lot of Beer drinking and fighting, mostly wrecks that turn into fights on the track. Ahh, I used to love that place, something about two kids and two jobs? Ya ain't got time for nothing anymore. But, I would not go back to those days, lololol:screwy:

I'm thinking Sunday. If we do it Friday and we break something, we can't do the tour through the mountains! I don't know, are more people likely to come early, or stay late?
