hi guys,
just wondering if anyone here has info on specs for 17" wheels on a 78-80 Monte Carlo?
centerline warned me when i bought my wheels. they said they would stick out. i dont think they are familar with the big bulging fenders on a 79 monte, so i went with them anyway, heres what i got:
17 x 8" 3.5" bs for the front
17 x 9.5" 4.5" bs for the rear
i can barely wait to see how these will fit. the tires i have are Nittos:
255/50/17 F
275/50/17 R
Im concerned about the fronts, but im running a 245/60/15 and an 8" rim with 4"bs with NO rubbing issues. so it should be tight.
Let me know if anyone here has a similar setup so we can compare notes. i know us 3rd gen monte owners are rare, so any info is good. thanks!
