Please help with 71 Chevelle project

I'm building a rolling chasis for my 71 SS frame off project. I would like to update the suspension so this car can handle fairly well. The more I read about the new products out there, the more confused I get. I would like the car to launch w/o wheel hop, but be able to corner without the control arms binding. So far my plans are for boxed lower arms, Umi adjustable uppers w/rubber bushings, and tubular upper & lower A arms up front. I definately have no clue about what to use for the front A arms with all the options out there. Also, I would like to achieve the stock ride height, but not sure which springs to use.

The car will have Baer four wheel disc (11" front rotors), TKO600, and an iron head 396.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I have about two weeks to get my parts together.

I have a 72 Chevelle, and have updated the suspension just like you plan on doing. I like to stick with one manufacturer for a complete kit, and not try and peice together my own.
Withthat said, I rebuilt my front suspension with new "polygraphite" bushings from PST. I swapped my upper control arms for a pair of Hotchkis tubular ones, since I upgraded to Baer brakes like you plan to. I have the stock lower control arms. I used Bilstein shocks all around. I also used Hotchkis springs all around too.
In the rear I used Hotchkis everything, they have a complete kit for the rear that is boxed , and you can even get adjustable upper control arms if you need too.
Also, hotchkis sway bars.
The car rides great, just right, not too harsh. Handles very nicely too. I know this isnt a "track" set up, but is great for everyday driving, and the occasional on-ramp adventure.
About the ride height, the Hotchkis springs only lower it about an inch, to an inch and a half, not a bad look. Especially if you plan on running larger wheels, which I'm sure you will.
