Hi
I recond this is the place for this question. Hope I make my self understood.
What is the measurements for a auto slalom race track with cones and a turning area? Timing can be done with a stopwatch or?
There is a TV show/ magazine over here that will have a shoot out with 8 cars on the 22.April. A buddy of mine will particepait with his 69 chevelle.
I asked him if he had heard of how the track would be? I he said that he didnt think it would be any spesific measurements, it would just be put up and driven. If I can get an answer here I will tell the tv show/ magazine guys how they do it in USA.
Then it will be easyer to compare. They will compete in autoslalom, dragrace and stopping the car.
The 69 chevelle is the only us cars to compete. The rest is japanes and european cars. One of them, a Ford Granada, is ecuipped with 572 injected ford V8 is the nearest it comes to US otherwise.
The Chevelle has, as this is being written, a never started 540 procharged aluminiums Chevy BB engine, Hotchkiss uppgraded susspension in front and rear. Upgraded to disc brakes, in front and rear, from Baer, a new quick steering box +++. All steel exept the hood.
I will trie to post some pictures when it gets down on its wheels and out of that crowded garage.
I am looking foreward to the answers to the questions.
