This caprice is a '69 427 390hourses with air. all original and is driveable. It is automatic and the air is a special kind?
Any ideas of a price.

If this is any help, there was a perfect, low mileage green 70 two door Impala at the Charlotte Autofair, 350/350 for 10K obo. If the 69 is in the same shape but bb it would be a bit more but 15K or so should do it.

What if I could buy it for 6 Grand? Would it be worth it?

Is it drivable, decent body and paint? Interior ok? If yes, I would say go for it. Of course, all this depends on your plans. Without seeing it, I just do not know what the value is. Color?

It is a two door. I just thought it might be something to turn a quick dollar?

Well, you have seen the car, which is an advantage over the rest of us. If it is a decent car, and since the Year One event is in your back yard in two weeks, I don't think it should be a hard decision.

If it has the original, numbers matching, "512" casting number block and the engine is complete, the engine is worth $2500 sitting on the floor. A Corvette guy will pay that for it to use in a 390 HP corvette.
You can add the rest of the parts up from there.

I bought one just like it at Pamona the week before Barrett Jackson...it also had tilt, windows, and fiber optics..paint was rough..had a little rust in the left front fender...$6500.00..
