I am contemplating converting to a LS1 setup but want to keep my 4 speed tranny is this possible? Also what is the value on a 4l60e tranny? I have to buy both.

what did you find does it bolt on or not

It will bolt right up, minus 1 belhousing bolt.
what about the input shaft length and riding in the pilot bearing? still good there too?
