SBC Summit Billet 2 Piece Timing Cover???

Hi all, I put on a Summit Billet 2 piece timing cover on last fall. The cover did not come with the rubber gasket that goes in the bottom groove that attaches to the pan lip. A stock type seal did not fit since the seal was much wider than the Summit cover. So being in a rush I permatexed the heck out of it, which worked fine until this spring. Any suggestions on what to use to replace the permatex? Does anyone know of a thinner rubber seal I can use? I'll call Summit on Monday to see if they have suggestions.
