Figured Id say hello. I guess Im a ford guy but I really like them all just more experence with the blue oval. Starting a project its a 70 Merc Cougar someone dropped a 460 c6 into it. Going to start slowly on it and make it an inexpensive build if I can. I dont see alot of Cougars on here but I was hoping they would come out of the wood work and give me some pointers. I picked it because it was different yet I could still use the inexpensive mustang parts and suspenions set ups to do it right. I also have a 70 Torino and a 89 Tbird SC. I have alot of ? but I plan to spread them out so it will be more fun.

Thanks
Devin

Hey Devin

Welcome ... I'm relatively new on here myself, and share similar automotive tastes, a 68 Cougar with an EFIed 289, and a 95 T-Bird SC.

Lots of great info and help here.

cheers

Not that I've seen so far, but I haven't had a chance to look through all of the galleries yet. A few Mustang people for sure.

there are a handful of ford people here...

somewhere I have bookmarked a full description of this car:

http://www.mercurycougar.net/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/5500/password//sort/1/cat/500/page/1

but can't find it right now.

I used to have two 68's many years ago (std & xr-7), but they're in the category of
"what was I thinking when I sold them?!"

welcome.

Very cool.
I owned a '69 XR-7 when I was in my early 20's. Loved that car.

Welcome!
