Does anyone know of a good place, either locally in Phoenix, or on the net for buying electrical connectors (not the cheapie crimp connectors)? I need to start the Painless wiring for my car, and only want to do the job once, so I wanted to get the good connectors beforehand. Any suggestions are appreciated.

if you want a safe bet on quality, go with 3M or Pico
I use all Pico uninsulated ones and use heatshrink to finish them off

Why not solder with heat shrink tubing?? Alot less problems with that, just a little more time consuming.

I was thinking about that as well. What I had really hoped to find was the shrink tubing butt connectors that also have the solder ring inside. All you do is heat the connector, and presto, you've got the shrink tubing and solder all finished.
If I can't find those, I will definitely be going the soldering route. Thanks for the suggestions.

Do any of these places sell the connectors without pigtails?
