I know there is already several threads regarding this, however, I have a problem.
I am 99% sure that there IS an external voltage regulator that is/was wired stock. The alternator I pulled off my old engine appears to be internally regulated (based on the connector type).
My new brackets came with a CS130 alternator. I had purchased a conversion kit from Lectriclimited, but the adapter connects the old style externally regulated alt to the new CS130.
So, I need to know if its possible to make the adapter work AND how.
Cant link to the adapter kit, so here is where to find:
www.lectriclimited.com (http://www.lectriclimited.com)
click pictures of harness etc
click conversion update kit
scroll down, VAK6368CS has link with diagram.
