Couldn't resist posting this: A new diescast line from Jada called "Donk Box & Bubble"????? Pro-Touring-4 Wheelin?

I guess I'll chime in here. I didn't have a hand in this product line, but I will say this about them: the castings and decals are some of the cleanest we have produced so far. It's a sign of things to come to say the least. They're not my style and just about everyone at the office knows it...probably because I'm so vocal about it, but just the same, there is a major movement for these cars in the South and like it or not, it seems to be catching on all over. Just call it G(hetto)-Machine. :hammer:

More importantly, keep your eyes on the Big Time Muscle line. Some very cool designs coming out soon and some hitting the shelves as I type this!

I've seen a few cars similar to these in the Baltimore area, always makes me do a double take. Not my style either, but as you said they're catching on.

I really like the Big Time Muscle line, have you seen the new Hot Wheels G-Machine line? I like those as well.

Gotta say I loved the last BTM Camaro with our logo on it. I saw on in Wal-Mart recently and picked it up.

Those remind me of this Impala I saw recently.

Nope, I took the picture myself. It was amazing enough to turn around, go back and snap it.

Nothing is that amazing, unless it's huge boobs and they've got your name written on them. THAT thing was amazing enough to go and blow up for looking so fugly.

I was told Jada has exclusive rights to the 1/64th 69 Camaro for this year. A guy wanted to do a Johnny Lightning Mule for Hot August Nights but Jada has the use.

Not sure on the licensing details. If it's true, I'll put a good word in Charley. That car's amazing.

Those 4x4's must be stopped. I'm all for the "It's their car they can do what they want with it" thing but this is ridiculous. I won't defend these buffoons.

By the way....I'd like to see this car Larry is talking about (BTM Camaro) with our logo on it. When did this happen?

Yup...these things are all over the place down here in South Florida...helps pay my bills...:rotfl:

Small furry creatures are rejoicing everywhere. :attn: Less chance of them becoming roadkill with these things driving around.

I don't know how to link other threads, but search for "Way Cool!!" thread, pics there. I got one off of ebay a few months ago.

They sold out before I got wind of them. The marketing people told me after they were sold out. I was gonna buy a ton to sell in the store. They sent me 2 or 3 of them though and I bought the only one I could find in the store. It's not a big logo but, look at the other names on the car. I was VERY happy!

It must be even more flattering knowing they tried, but still couldn't match what ya'll at Jada are doing. The Hot Wheels just don't have "it" the way the Jada cars do... IMHO.

Thanks man. Love it or hate it, Jada Style stands out above and beyond all the others who try to emulate it. :smoke:

I found this on ebay, it appears to have the pro-touring.com logo on the side as well.http://images.marketworks.com/fullView.asp?id=140806366&fc=0&img=http://webpageselling.com/cltr063loose.jpg
I think that looks pretty cool. Way to go Larry.:hail:

What are the rumors on the new more "Traditional" diecasts Jada is making? Will the scale, details and most importlantly to me- the Wheels- be more accurate? Will we see ProTouring cars up to par with GMP, etc.? I like what Jada does in paint and wheel styles, but the bodies and wheel diameters keep me from making a purchase. I still like to stare at 'em though.

Oh yeah! Very cool! I just bolted to the store and could not find any. I did find a TOTALLY cool remote controled '69 Camaro BTM by Jada. The wife and I just spent 15 minutes chasing the cat. LOL!!!

We really need some of these to race around at the Year One Event!

Kris?????? lol

Ouch!!! I paid $22.95 at Toys-or-Else

I wish the steering and throttle were proportional. It's like a light switch. On or off, Left or Right. Kind of how I think my Camaro will be. lol

Sweet. Now i need to get some more. Is that copy of your car available to the public Kris? If so I must have it.

Any word on if Jada liked the Corv-8 idea?

How did they come up with that idea? :hmm:
If I had a chance to do one of my Camaro.......well, I wouldn't do my Camaro. I would do the Mule or SW's black one......sweet!
That's too cool Kris!
