Im want to buff all the panels including door jambs and fire wall. My question is what do you use to buff the small areas. does some one make small pads? and were do I get them. Thanks Tim

I've always buffed those areas out by hand, but Autobody Toolmart and I believe Northern Tool and Supply sells a 3" buffer kit. It's basically an angle grinder with a bunch of small buffing accesories. Also, 3M makes a 6" buffing pad that you can use with a DA.

you could use a cloth flapper wheel, like the kind used on a bench grinder to buff aluminum parts. thats how we did the jambs on my dads 65 impala, just hand sand and move slowly with the buffer on a variable speed drill.

The 3 inch pads on a air powered angle grinder works great. I use them all the time on smaller parts. Try it you'll be sold, and will find many other uses for it. www.speedzonepaint.com (http://www.speedzonepaint.com)

We use the 3" pads and a baby buffer (like a angle grinder)
