The car I should have bought a few years ago just came to mind and I was wondering if anyone knows where it might be, if the new owner is a member, etc.
Story is about 5 years ago a 69' camaro coupe came up for sale localy here in SoCal. It was in decent shape, needed some paint, but other than that was mint. Had a nicel built small block, roll bar, 17's, man was it sweet. White with blue rally stripes, and in the faded blue stripe on the cowl hood you could see where once was a sticker that read "turbocharged"
The thing that makes me think someone might know where it is, is that it was a hotrod (iirc) project car the then seller had purchased from someone who worked at the mag. Friedberger? You remember that one?
Just seeing what happened to it, making sure shes still around. Damn you would all cry if you knew what it could have been bought for. As it would likely pull $25k as it was on todays market.
