Does anybody have experience with the DSE coilover kit on a first gen? Where should I start with shock length and what rebound setting?
I am running an all aluminum LS2, so there will not be a lot of weight on the front. Of course I got to this point in assembly on a weekend and can't call Kyle for advice.
Any input is appreciated.

You want to set it so that the bolt pivots and ball joint pivot on the LCA is close to level with the ground.

..... and start with the valving on full soft.
........bringing up old thread. :)
I wanted to be sure I understood this correctly. Can you describe the "ball joint pivot" for me? I don't want to be off by 1/2" or more. I at least want to act like I know what I'm doing.....
As I look at it here, from the front,..... would the top of the tube be a good marking point to use to line up with the A-arm's mounting bolt?

The ball joint pivot is basically the center of the ball itself. You can pretty much "eye" where the center of the joint is and just make sure the line from the inner, forward control arm bolt to the center of the ball joint is parallel to the plane of the earth.
Roger that. I wasn't sure if my "eyeing" it was going to be good enough. :)
Thanks for replying man!
