I know a few guys here have done the C5 swap on a second generation camaro/firebird. Does anyone have a template or the actual brackets for sale? Secondly, I have seen the pictures for the front brakes, maybe I am missing the rear ones, but has anyone done the swap for the rear brakes as well?

I can get you a set if you are interested-they will run about 75.00 for 7075 Al brackets. It may take a couple weeks, let me know.

john,

Most guys are using the LS1 4th gen rear brakes with c5 fronts. The friction surface size is essentially the same thickness (12") & diameter (1"). The backing plates bolt onto the axle flange of 10 & 12 bolts. The baskets are different than the c5 but the calipers are identical. If you want to keep the stock shock locations you have to use backing plates from the same side of 2 donor cars.

Lots of info on this swap in here.

Thanks for the Responses.

Denny, I have a 78TA, your post mentioned a 70-75 Bracket... Will this still work. The time is not a big deal for me.
