Hey Travis,
Dave's car has a 94 mm on it right now and we will swap to a 101 mm once Dave can drive it considering this is his first serious race car.
On our dyno the 94 mm would only make about 28 lbs of boost with a peak number of 1565 @ 6300 rpm before it couldn't keep up with the motor and the boost fell off. With the 101 mm it should make closer too 2000:)

That was a very cool twin turbo car that came in for some Dyno tuning. I'm not sure what numbers it made but it was BIG cubic inches and I could hear it pretty good at my desk when they were making pulls.
And,
I also posted a little special in the GP forum just so you guys know:)

The Nova project is going well and the guys are thrashing to get it done for the Pump gas drags as well as the top speed challenge.
I'll get some new pics up pretty soon!

The Monte Carlo is a car we built for GM a few years ago and features a 572 inch twin turbo big block Chevy and started out as a new production vehicle until we got a hold of it. It now sits on a full tube chassis complete with a passenger seat for exibition runs.
At it's lowest boost setting Kurt has driven the car to an 8.5x et.:)

I love that yellow Camaro. I saw some of the pics of the buildup on LS1Tech and the attention to detail was amazing :) . I would love to know more about, and see more pics, that red '57  .

The black SS is our resident test vehicle for our Rotrex supercharger line and the red truck is an extended cab turbocharged SS that Kurt has piloted to an 11.43 @ 117. Not to shabby for a heavy truck!
And,
Thanks for the warm welcome guys, feel free to check out our website for more examples of our work and we do offer job openings in the news section on our site.

The Impala was built before my time here at the Wheel but we do have a relationship with him and have worked on a few projects for him in the past. most of the stuff I have seen since I've been here has been Cadilac related.

Yeah the guys are thrashing heavily on the Nova, and it is starting to look like a car again. Should be a pretty cool car (as Kurt would say).

The only news I have heard about W2W has been great news. I met a couple of you last year at Gage in grand rapids, Michigan. Teddy introduced me to you. I had the primer grey 69 Camaro with the 4th gen interior. I took quite a few pics of your truck. It was about 3 vehicles down from my car. I am sure we will meet again and I look forward to hearing any helpful information you provide on this site. :)

Screw the street cars, I'll take the Crawford DP car! Shops like that do two things to little businesses like mine: make me a bit green with envy, and at the same time give a hint of "what if." Really nice outfit, Kevin and some really nice cars to boot.

Again, thanks for the welcome guys.
Our black SS is powered by a stock 5.3 at this time and also has our non intercooled Rotrex system installed.
With 8 lbs of boost it makes right around 320 at the wheels while having no lag and whisper quiet operation.
All and all we have been having great luck with the Rotrex units and more kits are on the way. Now they just need some BIG units.

Besides air movement you hear no mechanical noise and if you plum the bypass back into the intake tract it is pretty much non audible!

Kevin,
Do you know what the total added weight of one of the rotrex or twin rotrex units would be on the front of an SBC or LSX?
Kevin@W2W

wow that is cool.....I figured they sounded like a procharger or something!
The units use a planetary drive set up opposed to a gear drive hence no noise.
They also run huge step ups and it is common to run somwhere around 90k at the impeller on v8 applications. The ability to spin it that high also nets effiecency ranges in the 65 to 80% range without intercooling.
On a pretty mild 6.0 liter gen 3 we have made 1069 with twins at 22 lbs of boost.

A unit on its own with the oil system and a pulley weighs just over 20 lbs when I ship them. Depending other components and the motor it is going on I think a whole system could come out around 50 lbs.
The biggest Rotrex blower which will support 690 flywheel hp is still only around 7" dia.:)
Can't tell I was hired in for our Rotrex stuff can ya..... LOL

Through learning the product it makes since considering they basicly use a turbocharger impeller and belt drive it to almost turbo like impeller speeds.
And we all now the faster we can spin it the more air it will move to a point.
