1965 Imperial Crown, 4dr, 413 ci, this car has not been on the road for over ten years. I got it started today and it has so much blowby I can't hold my hand over the breather, but get this, all the electrics work, antenna, am/fm radio, interior lights, electric door locks, clock, power seat, guages, dash lights, map lights, glove box light and to top it off I pushed the a/c button for grins while it was running and heard the compressor click in, jumped out thinking I would watch it seize up and to my surprise the damn suction line was getting cold. I believe the previous owner just parked it cause of the blowby. It will get new rags and rugs inside, fresh paint job and wheels. I am considering a 413 rebuild, but that V10 sitting over in the corner is calling out to me. It will be a purpose built ride to shuttle customers, chase parts, "float" home after a hard day at work.

That's a cool ride, it has similar lines to the Lincoln's of that era that had the suicide doors, the V10 would be a cool touch.

Actually that's me hiding behind the v-10 trying to get you to install it.

Thanks to Chrysler hiring Elwood Engle from Ford, he designed the "slab sided" Lincolns.
