I am in the process of installing a 2004R with a trans cooler and next winter I plan on adding a Vintage Air (VA) setup. I am concerned there is not enough room to mount the VA 14"x22" condenser and mount the trans cooler later in front of the radiator. The condenser alone covers the entire raditor opening. What are you guys doing.....running a trans cooler with a fan? Pics would be great if you have them.

Thanks in advance

I would think most people run the trans cooler in front of the condenser. That's how the factory did it on my truck.

I'm running a B&M powered cooler mounted on the front of my inner fender.(under the hood) I pull my cool air thru a vent ahead of the tire. I had it mounted in front of the rad. prior to installing my A/C and have seen no difference in trans temps since the change.

I run my Auxilary B&M coller between the Condenser and Radiator.
