I've finally got around to putting up some pictures of our Camaro. I've been a member for a loooong time, and I've been so busy with 3 boys in about every sport known and working on the camaro. I just got it painted today and boy, what a great feeling that is! I've done all the work myself in my two car garage with some help from a great friend that works in a body shop showing me and teaching me the do's and don't of bodywork and painting. I've painted eveything on the car, up until today. I didn't really want to screw up that. So here's a few pictures.

EDIT: Correction your friend did an excellent job painting it. Black is the hardest to apply because your car has to be PERFECT or it will show the flaws. :worship:

Thanks guys.
I'm shooting for Goodguys in Des Moines in July. Hopefully.... Sorry, I didn't clairify myself, I didn't want to screw the paintjob up so I brought it down to the paint shop my friend works at and had one of the painters that works there paint it. This guy does friggin awsome work! The pictures look good, but man in person it's beautiful! And he still needs to sand and buff it!
The motor is a 383 with Eagle crank and 6" rods, Wisco 9.5 pistons, Dart 200 heads, 550 lift solid lifter cam, Crane roller rockers. Tranny is a TH350 with a 3500 stall. 3.90 gear. I just got it home today, nice feeling to have it back. My wife actually owned this car many years ago and we finally got it back so I thought I would make something special for her. I'll keep pics coming.. Thanks again. Trond.
