It's dose not matter what year. I'm trying to decide what kind of car I want. 1959 to 1963 are the years I kicking around. "Hopefully" by the end of the year I will be able the buy a nice one.

Here's a 59. I'm not sure if they are called bubble tops?

autorama with the 60 Plymouth Top on it. kinda like a bubble..looked cool..different..

I need to get Ken Sarbu to post his 62 Bubble on here..Mike Bluett just finished it..502 engine..Green and black 2 tone..It was at Super Chevy a few months ago in Florida

just for your info the 61 impala was the only year for a bubble top the bel air had the option in 61 and 62

buick invictas and olds and pontiacs had the option also

super chevy didn't pick the car..he was quite disapointed..Seems like the judges at the Super Chevy shows I've been to are on the " put your buddy in,,not the best car in" mentality.. Milton Robson and I went to Commerce a few years back. I took the Buttera/Coddington/Alan Johnson 67 Blazer Pick up there..they picked a $15K truck for best truck..Milton had his 55 that he just spent over 200K on..they picked a 55 that had been built for at least 12 years over his..We didn't whine..we just have never gone back..Ken was leaving with his 62 when they approached him about shooting it. He just told them he didn't think it would be good enough for their magazine..They made a disparaging remark about him in their latest issue..Said he didn't get 10 trophies or something like that..got his toys and went home..he said that wasn't the way it was at all. I know him well..I've never seen him like that..in answer to your question, no magazine has asked to shoot it yet to my knowledge.

The 1st time one of my interiors showed up in a magazine was in Super Chevy. They did not even up my name in the write up on the car. I was so pissed!!! It was the yellow Nova before DSE tuded it and redone the dash. All of the other POS's had the interior guy listed. :dunno:

62's are the baddest but they cost about twice as much as a 1959-1961 because they only made 5900 v-8 cars and about 600 409s.
