What is the difference between a entry level coil over kit like the Competion Engineering one in Summit over a QA1 or Koni or such?
Is the adjustability a legit factor in a real world car that is not going to be wrung out for all its got?
The Comp Eng kit has 3 way adjustable shocks and is 205 without springs. The Afco, QA1 and Koni's are all more $. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Also, what rate would be needed for the back of my 69?
Thanks

It depends on the type of rear suspension you are using and the location of the shocks. IMO get the best shocks you can afford.

TQ Arm style with the upper mounts in about the same area as the DSE 4link and on the housing just inboard and behind the factory spring perches.
I know that the front shocks make a big difference, but wasn't sure about the back.
Are the Comp Engineering ones any good?
