For those of you out there with shaved door handles, what brand/manufacturer did you go with to open your doors?
Thanks!

John,
The last system I installed was about 3 yrs ago on my 67 Nova (sold shortly afterwards :crying: ) was made by Dakota Digital. It was pretty easy to install good explanation on directions and the company was very helpful with a couple of questions I had at the time. There are several companies putting these out now but I have only used D/D stuff and was happy with it. Just my experience :twothumbs

HzEmall, I was just wondering why you said to stay away from Auto Loc shaved door kits? Have you ran into problems with these in the past? I was just looking to buy a shaved door handle kit and I have been looking at their products. I am not doubting you, simply just curious. Thanks

It's just cheap junk.....
It's kinda funny, their site shows which ones to NOT buy, which happens to be the one with a rubber boot on them to protect them from filling up with water........I have 4 of the autoloc ones here that I am re & reing for the Spal ones because they were filled up with water and rusted.
I didn't install them the first time, but I get to fix them.......
The only thing I have ever used from the Hoffman group that is a decent product is their linear acutator controllers.
The rest of it is cheap off shore cheap ass pot metal products..........
Their hinge kits break all the time........
I just stay away from all of their products.....
