Looking at a couple cars, I dont have a lot of cash to put into the car so Im trying to buy the coolest/nicest car I can. Ill probably do the easier upgrades like suspension, wheels & tires and few minor engine mods. My budget is 7-8 for the car and upgrades as I go.

First the odd ball, I was considering a 1964 Corvair Spyder (turbo) Vert, black/black restored and was wondering if there are some nice suspension upgrades and wheel/tires options available. I think one would look awesome lowered with the right combination. Photos anyone?

The other 2 cars Im checking out:
1968 Cutlass, 34k, 350 2 brl
1977 Z28, 54k, 350 4-speed

Thanks!

I doubt you will find much Protouring corvair stuff. Cool cars, just not enough market for anyone to spend the dollars doing the R&D required to produce any cool parts.
The other two would be much better choices for Protouring cars. There are many aftermarket parts avalible for either one.

Go for the 68 Cutlass! I am a little bias though lol. I am not sure about what's available for the Z28 but it is probably easier to get protouring stuff for Z than the Cutlass, altho the A bodies are starting to become a little more popular.
