Did you guys see that thing? I am blown away by the craftmanship on that car, and the amazing ideas put into the vehicle. The chassis is from a C6, with cantalevered Air Ride shockwaves, 22" wheels, a Harrop supercharged LS2, killer interior (with wood flooring) and an amazing headlight design. It's right hand drive to boot.
Check this thing out:

It reminds me of something I would have seen in the movie "Who framed Roger Rabbit".

I like the outside design except I think the "tail" is a tad too long. Don't care for the interior.

Tyler,
Funny how in one of your pictures, the speedo is on 53. When I saw it in HR, I was thinking it was a highly modified 49-54 chevy. It is a very cool piece. :bananna2:

I'm amazeed at the shine they got on that paint given that it's fiberglass. I guess that really doesn't matter, but its just hard to wrap my head around fiberglass being that smooth and flawless.

Beautiful car, I'd be afraid to take it out of a garage anytime anywhere.

The interior blows me away.

Would have been that much cooler to fabricate that body out of metal.

The digital speedo is way to big. Sometimes I don't really want to know how fast I'm going.

Those pictures were floatin' around GM last Summer. It's a great design. But the bean counters down on Jefferson would cringe at what it would cost to stamp those fenders. You'd have to break them up into 2 or 3 pieces. Also...the backlight would need to grow in size, totally destroying the overall design of the greenhouse. It's basically a "what if" concept, nothing more.

......fun to look at though.

Yep, "Obviously not intended for production, EFIJY has been a passionate side project for some Holden Design team members otherwise dedicated to creating the all-new 2006 Commodore."

Sometimes I don't really want to know how fast I'm going.

A few weeks back I did an HPDE event at Willow Springs. I asked the instructor how fast he went through turns 8 and 9, he said flat out. I asked how fast that was. He says "I don't look at the speedometer, it scares me." One of those classic one-liners that I'll never forget.

Darned nice car, I am just amazed at how the craftsmanship of all of these top hitter cars has progressed recently, it is truly amazing what these foks are capable of doing. Just amazing.

yeah it takes the wind out of the sails of the backyard guy - seemed like 10-15 years ago a backyard guy with a lot of pluck could build some pretty nice cars, and you still can, but they're not even in the same league as these big time cars anymore !

I love that car, when it first came out I search all over the place for all of the info I could find on it. I can't wait untill my issue of Hot Rod gets here.
