Wondering what is out there in terms of inner fender tin for a 1st Gen (68 to be precise). Ive seen a bunch of different versions for Chevy II's, but little or nothing that wasn't one-off custom for the Camaro.

A little something like this?

But with perhaps a bit less intrusion into the engine bay. Something that comes in horizontal, then drops straight down to the subframe?

Is there anything like that out there?

Get yourself a few sheets of poster board and make up some patterns. If you don't have a break any sheet metal shop can bend some 18 or 20 gage to match your patterns.

Yeah, that looks like pretty much the only option. I was hoping for something bolt-in, but it seems that there isn't much, if anything out there.

How will doing this affect front end rigidity? I am interested in a lighter weight inner fender for my 67 bird, but the strength/rigidity of the front end seem to be important factors to consider.

I'll be using solid bushings, welding every inch of my subframe augmenting the the k-member and incorporating it into a 12pt SCCA legal cage.
The OE inner fenders will be pretty redundant at that point.
