I checked out some of Bill's handiwork last week. Awesome craftsmanship. Those log homes are beee-utiful. Flammable, but beautiful.

Yup. One off parts are expensive. Design, programming, fixturing, raw materials....machine time is the inexpensive part. And then there's polishing. And the owner also got a billet heater box cover and some other stuff!!! Imagine the billet chunk required for the heater box cover. Oof.

Here is a quick shot of an addition we just did on a house I built 4 years ago. Picture is not a great one, but the top of the roof is about 40 feet off the ground. Fabulous view, but I had nothing to do with that part....lol

Nicely done, Steve. It's probably just me, but I think that part needs to be anodized after polishing. :)

Yeah, me too. And the fluted look is too old school for my tastes. But the customer gets what the customer wants. We tried to sell him on unobtainium instead of aluminium.

Looks awesome! Its always really rewarding to make something that cool for someone. Your right the one offs are very expensive especially when milling. I learned that when I designed Rick Dorions arm rest covers. Now I just stick to laser work.

Clint, I'll see what I can do. This guy paid for all of the cad and programming development. One thing for sure it would not say Chevelle (but can say something else if you'd like)

I know where to find you.
