The same type of hit could just as easilly take place on a highway as on a road course.

Ouchhhh, somebody came in way too hot for that corner (not that I would know anything about that). Car took one hell of a hit, sucks for the car. Thats about a 40MPH hit on the street against another car (again, I might know about that too).

psh, safety is still for wimps. I plan to take a hacksaw to random spots on my tie rods someday, just to make things more fun.

On a slightly more serious note...that does suck hardcore.
