I'm trying to convert my car to all coilover, i've seen a post from marcus saying he has spring adapters, so you can run 5" springs instead of the the regular diameter springs for coilover systems.

i found these adapters from speedway, i dont know if these are the same adapters. http://www.speedwaymotors.com/xq/aspx/paging.yes/dept_id.155/display_id.4920/qx/Product.htm

they also offer this set up, is there any advantage to doing this type of coil over system, or is this better for cicle track racing. http://www.speedwaymotors.com/xq/aspx/paging.yes/dept_id.155/display_id.4041/qx/Product.htm

What are the advantages to running 5" coils over the smaller springs. also front and rear spring rates, whats a good front and rear rate for about a 1/2 and 1/2 street/track car.
tru-coil offers 5" front springs 9.5 free height ranging from 575lbs to 1450lbs
and 5" rear springs 10.5" to 13" free height ranging from 125lbs to 575lbs

thanks for any help, Brian.
