in point of the Ford discussion below, here is the
Detroit Autorama, as seen through a Ford filter:

http://fordflashback.com/events_autorama_2006.asp

lots of nice looking Fairlanes, Falcons, Galaxies & Starliners.

the 1961 starliner (green + white top) is a good shot; really shows
the graceful rear window treatment.

the burgundy car to the left of the GT-40 is a 1964 Mercury Cyclone.

The 1965 Burgundy/Silver Falcon (sandwhiched between two fairlanes)
looks good, but the requisite PT 2-tone paint job misses the obvious the
2-tone opportunities in the "spear" on the side (cf. stock blue/grey
Falcon to its top left).

Great pics! You can never have enough pics of GT500's or GT350's. :kewlpics:

There was a very cool project car there some local community college was doing. It was the new 500 with a twist. It had the engine in the rear. It was called a 500 GT R.
There were three comets side by side. One was very stock, with TTll's. A black 60 that was very pro street. Then the red/silver one you mentioned above. I though it was a good comparison of the three types of builds.

My friend has a 1957 Ford Wagon very similar to the one shown on the top row of that link.
