Do you still have drums on the rear of your car? If you do and you already had disc/drum combo valve on your car then the old valve will work. If you had drum/drum then you should remove it and use the summit valve to adjust your brake bias.
Im not sure if the master cylinder that you got will bolt directly on to your car now, I would assume so though. Only one way to find out.

well the booster and m/c is already on the car hs been for a bout a year...was on there with stock disc/drum....so my valve will work with my ls1 front and drum rear until i decide to do the rear ls1 swap then would have to get the summit valve...right

If you have an extra $125, go buy a Strange Dual Tandem Master Cylinder (1" bore) and a Wilwood residual valve from Summit. Those proportioning valves can cause nightmares. If you are running drums in the back, buy the red valve and if you are running discs in the back buy the blue valve. Oh, make sure you get the valve with the inverted flare fittings. Wilwood offers this as a combo.

Forgot to mention that you will need to slot the bolt hole pattern in the master cylinder for it to work on a GM car. Are you planning on running manual or power brakes?

The bolt holes on the master cylinder are not made for GM applications, therefore you need to make the holes slotted to fit over the firwewall mounting studs.

Ive used a 3rd gen (disc/drum) master and combo valve with no problems. My latest job im just using a 3rd gen combo valve with a vette 1" master and stock style booster.
