at Autorama?
The black and silver 67 Chevelle with the twin turbo ZR1 engine and corvette suspension.
Poison Dart got 2nd.
Poison Dart did win Best Electronic Display thanks to Murray Pfaff who designed and built the display.
It had different hand carved vodoo heads on each corner with flames coming out of them. Here's a shot:

It is my opinion that feature 8 cars are pretty much equal. I believe its what ever floats your boat thats wins the Riddler. The pro touring class is subjective also. However, there were a few that stood above the rest. This car being one of them.
You have to remember this show is about how much money you spend and how outrageous you can make the car. Not which one is the best engineered or most practical to drive.

The owners sign said that Imagine Motorsports built the car, which throw me. Wasn't it even on Rides at Jeff's shot??? I also saw the car at St. Ignae last year in the Dodge tent. I'm sure it had Jeff's name on it there.

I met him on the Power Tour, great guy and he has the talent to build some stellar machines in the Midwest. After seeing the car and the amount of subtle modifications that went into the car that are seamless to others passing buy, this guy has it going on. Compare the Poison Dart to a stocker....big difference, great execution.

Jeff Schwartz served as the primary sub-contractor on Poison Dart.

Did anyone get a picture of the 66 Corvette that was Copper and had a 555 BB Donvan Chevy there? The car was pretty awesome and I did'nt have my camera. The Brakes were C5 Fronts all the way around.

I just got this email from Imagine. So I guess Poison Dart did win the pro-touring segment after all. Congratulations Jeff and everyone involved.

You have to read that press release closely, "took home hardware" means 2nd in pro-touring class. It did win best electronic display.
Here's a link to the truth on where the car was subcontracted, click on the TV logo.

At that time Imagine's owner was "imagining" that he had a shop, much less fabricators.

The Chevelle is slick, looks very well layed out and exceptionally executed.
