hey fellas. my name is tommy lee byrd. i'm 19 years old and i'm from dayton, TN i dont have a pro touring car but i like them. i have a few hot rods though. i wish i had the money to build a super nice g-machine but it costs less to go straight, lol. any ways, here is my car inventory for right now....

1964 corvette. my dad gave me this car when i turned 16. it has a tired old 327 with 2.02 heads and a B&M blower. its a 4 speed car. 4.11 rearend. it will have a fresh 355 in it soon w/ ported 2.02 heads and a blower cam. as you can tell, the car was built in the 80's. its gonna get an update, soon.

1982 Mazda RX-7 it has a 302 ford engine(yuck). i bought this car after the guy put the motor and tranny in it. i did all the paint and body work on it. its pretty quick and super light. it weighs 2,000 lbs. its for sale, btw. $3,500

1953 Henry J. my dream car. i just recently bought this car. i had been looking for one for a long time. this thing is rusty but it'll be cool.

ok, i have a couple more rx-7's but they're just project cars for now. i also just bought an '84 GT Turbo mustang. 2.3 turbo....its pretty cool. my daily driver is a '95 S-10 with a 4 banger. its lowered and stuff but its nothing special. here is one of my drawings. i figure the pro touring crowd will like it....

Hey everyone my name is josh and i am heavily involved in drag racing, until now i havent seen this new style of pro touring ,man what a great idea , old school styling with new style technology simply amazing !! i have a 72 nova that ive built from a junk yard beater to a street asassin. although not a great handling car something about smoking the tires at 135 mph really exites me but recently ive seen this forum and cant believe my eyes ! these machines are simply beautiful.. im going to sell my car and hopefully i can finish my pro touring car ,65 mustang is the choice and im stickin with it ,its got a scotts coilover front end power rack ,four bar rear suspension and alden coil overs,an 03 svt cobra 4.6 ,tremec 6spd, iam basically looking for more of a stock appearance with a variety of upgrades. i currently work at scotts and do fabrication as well. tell me what you think and thanx for your time!!
