ive just put my brakes on my 68, factory disc brake front car. and installed prop valve on hard line on frame below driver, my queston is(now that im looking at it from master cyl area.am i supposed to retain the factory prop valve withlight switch and metering valve? or remove all that and plumb a new system. anybody whos done this ide really like some info. thanks.

I think you need to keep the stock valve for the warning light.

If you installed an adjustable prop valve, then you shouldn't need the factory valve, but I don't think it will be a problem with how you have it set up. My 68 Camaro was a 4 wheel drum car from the factory (no prop-valve). When I switched to my Baer brakes I installed an adjustable valve, and it is all I need to properly bias my brakes.

Some years are valves inside some are just juncions. If the valve can be dissasembled it needs to be hollowed out. Baer can tell you what you need to do. I needed to keep the warning light. It is a must for safety. FRANK
