Roger did get his car finished and in the Autorama. Here is one picture to prove it. Way to go Roger, it looks great. Gotta smoke some tires next weekt though, can't be a poser all your life.....lol
BTW, this is just a teaser for a lot more pictures to come guys. I am sending Larry 175 of the show today. Look for them shortly.

Not Larry's fault....lol
I have just in the last few minutes got him the pictures. It is hard for a dumb ass like me to deal with that many pictures. Hold on a few more, should not take too long now.

Wow, that turned out really clean looking. A bit too much chrome in the wheels for my taste, but it looks great.
How many dyed in the wool Poncho-geeks were screaming and crying about Roger cutting up a "perfectly good Judge"?
Bill Howell
03-03-2006, 05:52 PM
Actually, he has not cut anything. It could be put back stock fairly easily but why, what would be the point. Be fun too when another POSER spanks some butt between red lights.

Damn nice car. But in that picture that Paul posted, there's this big ugly blotchy thing in front of it blocking the car. Move that thing out of there and it's a great shot of the car.

Here's a few taken during and after the show. The steering wheel is still under some debate among the family.

The GTO took a top trophy. Big deal. 15 minutes of fame.

^ Cass, the guy who did such an amazing paint job, along with some of the girls from the Hardcore Racing booth posing with the trophy.
We met Chip Foose as he went by on his way downstairs and promised to come back and take a closer look at the car.
Unfortunately he came back while we were out to dinner but he talked to some of the guys from Motor City Steel. He thought the car was very nicely done and especially liked the faded stripe on the nose. He loved the theme of the car, old school, NOS mixed with new technology, pro toruing sytle.

Steve, I'm running on empty, wasted, exhausted. I have been sleeping almost the whole day. This show and the last two weeks before Autorama beat me up bad! How you guys go across the country to SEMA, Bill, Prodigy, is simply insane.
Motor City Steel had a photographer take some awesome pics. I will have them in a few days and will post them and e-mail them to you.
The stance of the car and the fade on the nose, even the red/burgundy colors do not show up well because of all the reflection (lights) at the show. They are simply killer. Sorry, I had to say it myself. If you check a previous thread, project update at Lateral-g you will see a post of the specs. I spent a lot of time on R&D getting that stance just right. I picked that up from yours truely PHR.

Roger, That is beautiful, you are killing me, makes me want to do my 69 Judge. How about a cousin in orange. Really awesome execution, need to see more.
As for the steering wheel, I like it as is, kinda blend of old and new-pro-touring.

Roger,
Something tells me you are going to end up with a lot more than 15 minutes of fame. This car screams "look at me". Black is a tough color and it came out incredible. Not a 7 day build on this one.

Check out project updates at Lateral-g on the GTO. I posted a lot of info about paint that might help. Heck you could be a painter, what do I know?

I told you in a previous thread, you started this madness. Detailing is my cup of tea. I just tried to meet the standards that I have seen in some of your projects. You are the guys that inspired me.
