Those are some very cool chops, Carter. I especially like the first and second chops in the first post.

The first and 2nd ones look really good. Actually the first one is similar to the paint job I am doing on my car, just not quite that nice. :)

Very nice and clean. I see the House of Kolor link in your sig... Is that what you're using for these? Or are you actually using Photoshop? A combination of the two? These seem have a bit of that HOK look to 'em. Just curious really...

Buddha, these were all done with photoshop. I am the one that wrote the software (Digital Paint Booth) for House of Kolor. Some of the graphics shapes are the available in the software, I just used them in Photoshop.

That would definitely explain it... Nice work on both the 'chops and the software.

Might not be in his best interest to give you that info, considering his "investment" in the HOK software.

Hey guys its OK. It's not a real secret on the graphics. Some of them are with the pen tool in Photoshop others are Illustrator files that have been copied and pasted. The secret is in how I convert and change the colors. I can make very nice blacks and whites with my technic

Graphics are always a bit tough, but with careful use of certain tools, you can get some nice results. Using Illustrator has got to be an extra cool way to do it, and probably less time consuming.

Oh, and I too have had good luck with doing black and whites... it's all about brightness/contrast control with careful hue selection and saturation. Have you got another technique you're using?

yes I do have another technique that I am using. But it is a patent pending setup so that is the part that I protect.

Hey Carter! Long time, no talk! Great chops on that '69. I'm still perfecting my usage of paths and the pen tool in general. Getting pretty good at it, but definitely not giving up my 3D day job, haha! Keep up the great work man.
