I see Hotchkis finally came out with their subframe connectors for the Camaros. They have them in coupe and convertible versions...
OK Here is the bad part....$302.00!!!! :seizure: Are you kidding me?? I think they just priced themselves way out of the market with that!! They dont look like they will save much underhang room and they dont mesh into the floor. They are a true bolt on but there still must be a hell of alot of under hang!! Cant see paying $302 for a set of subframe connectors when you can buy DSE and others for a heck of alot cheaper. Any opinions out there??

to a lot of people that would rather not cut up their floor pan and weld their subframe in place, the extra dough might be worth it.

That may be true but there are a host of other companies that offer subframe connectors that will allow them to do just that without the $302 dollar tag.

Not for convertibles there not. I have plans to get a pair for myself.
Any know if it manditory to have solid sub frame bushings when these are installed?

You're better off using solid subframe bushings. Unless of course you want to keep the flex in the chassis and possibly oval the mounting holes or do some other strange kind of damage.

Maybe Hotchkis will include them in a "total package" with a discount?

The Global West SFC's come with solid bushings which replace only the rearmost poly bushings, should I change all of my energy suspension mounts to solids? or are the rears fine?

I am positive they are not; however, I want these for the time being.
I will be doing a full resto one day and I want to be able to easily remove the front subframe when that happens.
