65?

A friend had one a couple years ago, all original but decent car. We cruised the strip here every car show, with 4 or 5 big boys in it. What a hoot. Yeah, power touring in that would be as cool as Mike's limo.

I just picked up the same sort of car, any suggestions. After all it was designed by the guy that did the Lincoln.

Very cool - suicide rear doors and all. Put it on bags and enjoy the float trip! Right on with the Power Tour.

I have ALWAYS wanted one of those. They are soooo cool! The ebay one is in line with the way I want it too. Awesome cruisers! I wish we could suicide the rear doors of my buddies '67 Chevelle 4 door.

hhhmmmmmm . . .

Congrats on the score!

It will be a while before this thing get's cruised real far. I have lot's of little things to sort out. I rebuilt all the window switches the other day with a friend. Waiting on a few motor parts. Bought basically a full new ignition system minus the distributor (using an Accel module to replace the points). It's needs a carb rebuild or a new carb. Can't get the top down.

Some cool things though:
Stock 4 piston caliper front brakes with 12" rotors
Interior is cherry (I'm the second registered owner)
Stock 9"
C6 tranny

Those things are fetching insane prices anymore.

I almost bought one, but they wanted like 3500 bucks... 1967...

Ok, now that we see there are a few of us "boat" drivers out there, how bout some pic's of what you have done to your lead sled.

Would you guess I paid $1,000 for this car?? Top look brand new. It's got some funny electrical but it runs..
