New member here, think this is the right forum to post this--if not then apologize in advance. I have a very nice 53 Stude body and I want to ls1/t56 it. Anyone done this have any pointers? Also wondering if I can use the engine cradle/front suspension in this changeover. Donor car is an '00 Z28. I realize I would have to address the issue of the Camaro's shock towers. I do have a fair amount of mechanical/fabricaton experience and am looking for pointers from others who have info. Thanks, John

Welcome to the site, John. This is the right forum, but I don't think we've had anyone doing a Stude yet.

You might want to contact street & performance: www.hotrodlane.cc and maybe do some searches over at the www.LS1tech.com conversions & hybrids forum.
