I need a recommendation on headers. I know someone here has a program for headers, I'm hoping they can give me some info.
I am running a 400 small block with ported 180cc Bowtie Vortecs, a solid roller 280/286 .645/.660 camshaft, and about a 6500 rpm redline.

TIA

Buy a set of Burns collectors and they'll tell you exactly what the entire system should be.

What kind of car is the engine going to be in? What will it be used for?

Getmore, check out Headerdesign.com. They have a calculator program there. The tube diameter and length mostly depends on what revs you want to get the most power at, and how much HP you're making. I'd say you're somewhere between 1 5/8 and 1 3/4 tubes, and 30-32" long with a 12-13" collector. Bigger tubes if you want to run the high revs. smaller if you want to max the bottom end. I'd guess you're closer to the 1 5/8" with the heads you have. Headers that are too big can totally KILL the bottom end. I just saw this site yesterday, and it seems work OK.
