Hi !
I´m just about to connect the brake line into the Master Cylinder.
Is there a reason why a lots of cars have a "loop" on the brake line , near the Master Cylinder?
I´ve heard that the "loop" absorb vibrations.
Is that correct?
Is it really necessary to make a "loop" on the brake line , or can I make it straight ?
I´d rather go with the straight brake line.

yes the loop does absorb vibration, body flex etc. i would highly recomend the loop if it a weak chassis, and/or hi hp. there is a reason that it is installed on most new cars - it will cause the lines to crack/leak overtime. i agree that the straight line look better, but i would rather be safe in thissituation.

If not a loop, then use several bends (2 or 3) along the firewall, then go forward to the master cyl. The idea is to have the tube bend in the middle rather than overstress the connections on either end.

Thanks for the info.
I´m going for the "loop"alternative.

the loop from the tee to the line in not really nessecary, due to the lack of frame rail flex compared to a rubber body mount.
