The aluminum front bushing that they provided are to small O.D. like a 1/4" what to do?
I told them that I had hotchkis springs when I ordered the kit and I just sprayed the white rancho shocks black. :scared:

Did you call them and ask? Seriously, that should be your very first step.

If they don't want to fix it, just make a new bushing (or ask a machine shop with a lathe). Make the ID and length the same, but make the OD to what your spring is (Sometimes they are a slight press fit, maybe .001" oversize).

I also have Hotchkis springs and Caltracs. My bushings fit the front spring eye perfectly. I took off the springs and pressed the bushings on a hydraulic press at work. They were a tight fit, using a press was needed. Are you saying the bushings are loose in the spring eye? The Hotchkis springs should accept a standard 1st gen sized bushing. Maybe Calvert sent you the wrong ones?

They sent the wrong bushings, instead of 2" they sent 1.5", they sent the correct bushings 2nd day air. I received them and had them pressed in.

I just finished the install and I am psyched! I hope like hell my wheelhop is gone; however, I wont know till my ZZ383 gets here.

Thanks for the replies.

Calvert Racing is one of the places I really enjoy doing business with and they seem to genuinely strive to satisfy their customers. I was mistakenly sent the wrong front spring eye bushings as well and after a phone call to calvert I had the correct ones in my hands in a couple days.

The round bar that connects the front and rear heim joints is touching the rivet on the bottom of the leaf springs that holds the multi leafs together, should I be concerned?

Should I gring some off the rivet head?
