View Full Version : GTO clone
I have a chance to pickup a 1970 lemans GTO clone for a great price. I have some concerns about the roof of this car though. The car is solid except the previous owner had installed a sunroof in the car and really hacked it up in the process. Would replacing the roof skin be an option or could a patch panel be installed? I can pickup this car for $800 its a great find 455 engine and turbo 400 tranny honey comb wheels. The sunroof is the only problem. I live in Columbus,Ohio if you could recommend a shop that could handle the roof issue for me that would be great! Or would I be better off to strip the car down and look for another lemans to swap the engine and GTO nose onto?

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix the roof issue?

For that price it is worth it! I would say fix the roof over replacing the body unless it has some major northern cancer!
