heading out to the atlantic city car auction in the morning,5 am i've never been to this one, hope it's like a mini barrett jackson looked on the wed site looks to be some high end cars. tents and such over 1000 cars inside,several ways to sell cars and a swap meet also.

they never had tents a few years back..just one monster building..it gets pretty cold up there some times..John Chiara and Jay are very nice guys..I hope they do well..It used to be one of the premier auctions of the year. It's probably still in the top 6 or 7..there was a swap meet..car corral..Auction..and an antique furniture etc for the ladies..nice deal..

I used to work at Trump Plaza in AC, and I can tell you this show draws a huge crowd! Parking is tough... and don't park on the top floor of any parking garage in AC!
It's cold here today-34.

oh.. sorry I forgot to reply.
Actually... it is because of sea-gulls, however, it's not the "doo" that's the problem. The gulls pick up clams from the shore and break the shells mid-air and eat them. They drop the shell & typically the shells are high enough to drop with enough force to shatter your windshield. (or put a good sized dent in the car) I've had two windshields completely shattered before I got a clue. (plus, the casino personnel are all familiar with the shell dropping nightmare)
It's the strangest thing to go to your car and see shells on the front seat surrounded by glass.

Talk about a waste of time. It's a good thing you guys made this thread in the outhouse because thats where the show belonged. The show 100 percent sucked.

I didn't think it was that bad. I'm not sure what you expected. I saw some nice cars. There are worse ways to waste a February day.

maybe 97 or 98 percent of it sucked but it wasn't good enough to keep there for more than 4 hours. I was a FIXIN to leave after about 2 hours
