I want to ship my car from E-Town back to Florida after the Power Tour. Last year I saw the haulers at Kissimmee, but I've called a few carriers and they won't commit to picking up the car on a particular day. Does anyone have previous experience doing this and how did it turn out? Is anyone else planning to ship back to Florida? Maybe we can work out some group pricing with a carrier.

I checked into the Auto Train as well but they require a minimum of 4" of ground clearance. Has anyone used the Auto Train and do you really need that much clearance?

Thanks. -Neil

I just had to pay almost 900 to have some fiberglass panels shipped from ohio to cali. 1400 for an entire car sounds like a steal.

Ps Nj to florida is a days drive two at the most why don't you just drive it home. You're going to put how many miles on it during the tour whats a few more.

Some of us will be driving some pretty 'uncivilized' rides. The trip up sounds fun. The trip back would be miserable.

1400 is WAY too much! unless shipping has gone back to early 90's pricing,

I getting it done for $900, and will have a truck waiting. Also , if we can get a load down for the start, can do the same thing..

I think we still have room on Franks(Prodigy Customs) hauler...
"Eternity" will be riding back
I believe Neil B is on
"Prodigy" will undoubtedly be harassing "Eternity" the entire trip
Perhaps a certain 55 box Chevy
etc

Is that for an enclosed or open trailer?

I've got at least half a dozen 6 figure + cars in the group. No way we would ship any of these cars open. This is enclosed, $2,000,000 insurance
