I just went out and bought the DVD because it has two of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. Selma Hayek and the blue "Pro-tourish" 69 convertible. (I say "pro-tourish" because I have no idea what lies under the sweet sheetmetal and large wheels and tires)

I haven't even watched the whole movie, I just keep jumping to the scenes with those two in them.https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif

I think it is giving "Better off dead" a run for it's money as my favorite camaro movie ever.https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif

The movie tried to buy the Camaro previously owned by Bob Spears. They saw it in Popular Hot Rodding magazine and said it was exactly what they wanted...but they were going to paint it blue. They ended up buying a different Camaro and made it sit and look like Bob's Camaro.

Tony, do you know if Bob's Camaro is still in California? Who has it now?

Bob Spears sold the Camaro to a guy named Fred in the Chicago area.

Here's the short story made not so sad. The producers of that movie tried to buy Bob's Camaro. They loved the car when they saw it on the cover of PHR. They were going to buy it and paint it blue and then re-sell it to Bob when the shooting was done for less money. Bob wanted a little more than they wanted to pay. Later Bob sold it on E-bay to Fred.
