I dont know if anyone can use this, but I found a nice forum that is kind of small, but it has a nice-ish tutorial that I really think could be beneficial to those new to welding. It has some pretty decent pics and videos. I am not too sure much of this would work well for car panels, but it gives a decent representation of MIG welding (i think).

That's an excellent source of misinformation. For example, several times he mentions "playing with the wire speed and amperage settings". Those two settings are one in the same.

It looks like he gets the job done (by blind luck, seemingly), but he has no idea whatsoever how to explain what he's doing, or the theory behind it.

My suggestion for that site: Look at the pictures only.

There you go! That is what I meant to say. I find it kind of difficult finding pics of welds should look like.

I once had a great little chart that showed different welds and each pic had a description of why it was a bad weld and what you needed to do to adjust. I lost it and that sucks cause it was really helpful.
